You can now no longer buy teleport scrolls
You can buy lightning staffs, double blade+skill, and tiger bows+skill

4.Game Characters
This is the main help part.
.Dark Knight
Sex: Male
Combat type: Melee
Main ATR: Str
Secondary ATR: Agi
The dark knight is the strong-man of MU. He can take on most monsters by himself, and is the easiest to play. All new people at MU should try this character. This guy is the easiest to level up, because he can take on most monsters at an earlier level. He has brown hair, a light brown vest and pants when he starts. If you reach level 150, finish the emperor scroll quest, you will become a blade knight. Dark knights can use most weapons, some skills (Impale-lvl 28, TS-lvl 80) and weapon skills (cyclone cutting skill, etc). This is the most common character and one of the best.
.Dark Wizard
Sex: Male
Combat type: Ranged/Magic
Main ATR: Eng
Secondary ATR: Str
The dark wizard is the hardest but most rewarding character in MU. He will die lots in the beginning, but in the end, you can become so strong that you can swtich to evil spirit spell, tape your right mouse button down, and go read a book. Evil spirit will kill everything around you but make sure you have lots of mp. The dark wizard has white/grey hair and black clothes. A advantage this guy has over dks are teleport, which can teleport you to where ever you can click/see. This is good because you can teleport across walls to elude monsters/pkers or take a short cut. Choose this character if you want a challenge.
.Elf
Sex: Female
Combat type: Ranged/Summon
Main ATR: Agi
Secondary ATR: Str/Eng
The elf is the only female character in the game, which is kinda crap. She can summon very powerful monsters to aid her, like soldiers, vali(bali?)s and Elite Yetis. This is good for AFKers who can summon a good monster, and it will kill everything thus gaining you free xp. She is also a much-wanted character as she can 'buff' which means enhancing the target's atk/def depending on how much energy she has. Elves can use a bow but not many other weapons. There is a limited amount of arrows which means you have to reload/restock every 255 arrows/bolts. This is easier because you dont have to waste mp pots to kill monsters like dark wizards to gain a ranged attack. Elves have more health/str than dark wizards but less than dark knights. Many people choose this character for tis balance, but some just choose her for looks =D.
NOTE: There is a very very very cheap way of leveling...... Davias party!!!!!!!!! Go to davias, find a good party, and just leech.... XD
5. COMMANDS
These are commands you can type when you press the enter key to do something.... remember to put capitals if there are any

bye = byebye
Go go go , Rush = urges your troops on

these commands you can put "/" without the quotes to perform the action without saying anyting
/####### where ####### is the name of the weapon. This tells you info about that particular weapon
/warp ###### where ###### is the name of the town.. This is only avialiable after lvl 50. But its easier to press M and click the name of the town you want.
~### where ### is your message. This talks to party only and anywhere they are, they can see it.
@### where ### is your mesage. This is guild chat.
press enter, then tab, then type the name of the person you want to talk to, complete with capitals, then press tab again, then type your message. This is whisper, and to turn it off, press tab, backspace, then tab again.
6. INGAME
you should know about the interface from other faqs, so i wont mention it.
sombody(name): commoner/hero/outlaw warning/outlaw stage 2
this might pop up on the top left corner. These are alignment changes,and if you have played darkeden, like i used to before it got gay with all the speedhackers, its just like align there.
Hero: kill 3 or more murders to get this. This increases chance of item drop when killin murders, and if you die, you will not lose an item(well, almost 0%). Your name changes to dark blue.
Commoner: This is what you start on, and is pale blue. This is normal.
Outlaw warning: This turns your name yellow. This comes only if you kill one person, and lasts for 1.5 hours.
1st stage outlaw: This means you are a murderer. Your name turns red, and people will hunt you down..... alot. You have a 75% chance of dropping an item when you die. Looks awesome tho. This comes if you kill somebody else in that 1.5hours of warning. Pasi the Wiz in lorencia will tell you how much time you have left of 1st stage. This stage lasts for 6 hours. Cannot talk to NPCs, guards will kill you.
2nd stage outlaw(phono): this means you are a phonomainac. You idiot, you musta done something realy evil to get this. I hit this status once, and its not fun everytime you die you drop something. Lasts for 9 hours, +3 hours for another person you kill. Pasi can tell you how much time you have left of 2nd stage. Cannot talk to NPCs, guards will kill you.
NOTE: Killin mobs will reduce your time of murderer, which is kool.
7.QUESTS
There is three quests, although ive only helped complete one. To start the Emperor's scroll quest, talk to the monk(its a girl.)in davias towards the west entrance. She will tell you some random stuff..... then you are off! Go to lost tower, and kill as many mobs as you can. DONT go into a party, because you will not find the quest item. Its called the emperor scroll, you cannot drop it, you cannot steal it, you cannot trade it, and you cannot pick another one up. Cant sell it either. Return to the priest she will give you 10 stat points to put into what eva u want. Then she tells you of another item, and this is unique to all clases. Elves get elf tear, Wiz get something, DKs get something too... i dunno. Go to LT again, kill mobs till you get it, and return. She will give you another 10 stat points, and you will become a
Elf=Muse Elf
DK=Blade Knight
DW=Soul Master
MG's are left out and nothing happens. THis lets u use 2nd gen wings, which i dont think is out yet in global.

There is a 'special code' of words that people use in MU. Heres what i know so far
