Partying
PARTYING

now this guide's purpose isn't to describe the way partying works, so i won't get into that. i'm going to talk about how to choose your party members wisely. obviously the best thing to do is party with people you know, or with people from this forum. however there may be times when you feel the need to party and nobody you know is online, so you have to resort to partying strangers.

for those who are looking for party members

>> when partying a stranger, it's good to look at his personality. if he says right off the bat "all DK items mine" or "all zen mine", then kick him out of your party. he's nothing but a greedy guy who doesnt seem to realize that YOU'RE doing HIM the favor. if the stranger politely asks for items or if he politely asks if he can have the zen, or doesnt at all then he's most probably a nice guy.

>> many people tend to macro their level when asking for a party. the best thing to do is look for people who macro politely like "i am level 16, please party" and to steer away from people who macro "LEVEL 17 PARTY ME". it might just be me, but people who macro very, how should i say, arrogantly, are just not the kind of people who i'd like in my party.

>> split the zen with your party members. it's just a nice thing to do. you probably have a lot of money anyway, whereas these low-levels have little. you'd be helping them out a lot.

for those low-levels who try to find parties

>> like i said above, be polite when asking for someone to party you. they're doing you a favor.

>> never DEMAND zen or items. once again, they're doing you the favor tongue.gif

>> always say "thank you". it's just right.
