This is like when your in the military and you get a new commanding officer. He is a real hard ass for the first month and then he calms down. K2 is going to do the same thing be a hard ass for a couple of days or weeks and then it will be back to normal or until they drive away their users.

I also wonder how will they realize you're using a 3rd party program, who will warp you to the Arena? a MM will? or some "hack detection program"? What if they send you by mystake or get punished with no reason?

it is quite easy to recognize a Boter:

he atacks all the time with some pause betwen regeneration tics.
he picks up what drops.
he has /request off activated.
he dont respond to PMs, neither to mails send...
if he does it for more then 3 hours he gets considered a boter...

then he gets punished, some how this kind of "anti bot" is applyed in other games and private servers, go check WoW and see how they "detection works"

Oh yeah its true, that's a way to recognize one if you are looking at him, so I suppose the only ones who would see a person botting would be normal users that are passing by, MMs won't be on f2p unless they're on disguise, spot cheating users and send them to the arena ( I still think there should be a prisson map)

If they develop an anti-hack/bot program it won't really matter, we saw what happened when they did it the 1st t ime, everything was cool for a few days, but as I said on a thread back then.... these guys (the people who program and develop the afk/hack software) are like roaches to a plaguicide, they will upgrade and come back and won't b affected(which they did)

they didnt made it clear enougth but they also told us that was not a definitive solution.

any one knows where ppl AFK with Bots, and then can take a little trip into server 1-4 and catch a lot of Boters, its not soo hard.

lets see what u need to afk...

1st condition: u must not die by anyway posible
2nd condition: monsters should not "move u".

that leaves place to: Lorencia, Noria, Davias, Doungeon1, some parts of Doungeon2, A1, some parts of A2, T1, and for uber high sets/chars u can go to icarus or middle tarkan

from all of those.. i double lorencia, noria and davias have any kind of afk-Bots,
u see most of them in D1, A1-2 and T1 so its not so hard to catch them all, besides thy are most of them on sever 1 and 4 only




BTW i have made myself 2 or 3 bots cos i dont trust others ppl programs

Buy a new modifcation chip for your brother and he should be fine and updated to the lastest patches and software.

As in some Morgad's thread, where he ask what keep you going on MU, a lot of people said that they keep playing to have better items, levels etc...Woah woah woah, are they dependent to MU?

And that's the kind of people who seriously spends internet/electricyt on AFKing...The ones who don't search for fun, because if they were looking for fun they would be PLAYING the game, if that's their objective in MU...Or just to make a big account to sell it later and win some cash...(Wich I don't see it that bad, I mean all the hours we "spent" (cause someone doesn't even spend time) are price worth)...

What about afking with joystick? W/o bots people still can afk with joystick. And i remember alot of mu guys say that is was not illegal..

That could get irritating. I afk at nights, active party/solo/sitatgatedoingnothing during the day... And like makers said, no BRB GGP... MM could happen to come past just then, and you'll end up in arena, possibly ith 99 hours pk to clean

I dont think k2 will be that thorough on f2p though. Time is money, and we clearly arent giving them any... Either way people will find a way around it.. They'll make up a DL bot that walks to the spot when all party is detected in arena, autosummons them back to tarkan, then warps back to safe zone to await the next MM.

K2 should get a level 330 + character and check how long it takes to level it then make there judgements on that. Dont think many 300+'s on valhalla would be very keen to actually active train. They're paying2afk atm, but if theres no afk then what.. pay to sit at the gate? ^^
